MSAT Synthetics Liquid DP External site Principal Scientist

Overview

As MSAT Synthetics DP External Site Pr. Scientist, you drive manufacturing science and technology activities at external sites to ensure smooth tech transfers, NPI readiness, and lifecycle support. You collaborate across MSAT teams, EM partners, and QA to de-risk and optimize processes, delivering high-quality drug products. You will own technical issues at EM sites and contribute to roadmaps and continuous improvement. This role offers impact on patient care through scalable, compliant manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Execute drug product technology transfer and lifecycle activities
• Support NPI using standardized tools with cross-functional teams
• Act as technical coordinator for EM site standards and MSAT roadmaps
• Serve as primary site owner for EM technical issues and VMT representation
• Maintain understanding of ongoing technical activities at the site
• Engage in Site Lifecycle processes including due diligence, onboarding, and monitoring
• Support EM handling tools and metrics for segmentation and planning
• Conduct technical assessment of change controls and quality-related activities
• Provide technical support for investigations and resolution of deviation/OOS

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with dosage forms and process science/tech transfer for liquids and solids
• Experience with external manufacturing network (EM)
• Basic knowledge of small molecule supply chain
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lead activities with prioritization and time management
• Strong understanding of Quality & Compliance and GMP/EHSS requirements
