For an international client in the Aerospace, Defense, Transportation and Security sectors, Specialisterne Italia is searching for a NAS Head of Bids to join the team.
Posizione
NAS Head of Bids
The Head of Bid Management is responsible for management of NAS (Navigation Aids Systems) centralized bid team to ensure an efficient bid process across all NAS functions, overseeing the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning proposals.
Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS-NAS) customer offers reporting to Bid&Project director
- Deploy Group processes, methods and tools, ensuring proper staffing of bids workforce, and their skills and careers development
- Increase bids managers competences through development plan and adequate support
- Ensure on time and on conformity delivery of proposals
- Manage priorities among bids
- Offer support and control for Bids execution
- Drive bid reviews and ensuring actions are followed up, in close cooperation with the Finance Function
- Drive training and Bid Managers certifications
- Monitor and analyze Bid performances through relevant indicators
Location & Work method
- Location: Gorgonzola
- Work method: Hybrid (in-person + remote working)
Requisiti
- Educated to degree level with a prior knowledge of leading, implementing and reviewing strategic business development initiatives;
- Very good language skills in English, spoken and written;
- Knowledge of Italian language is a must (C1-C2 level). Other languages are desirable, but not necessary;
- Minimum 5 years experience in bidding or proposal management, preferably airspace & defense sector, in international business environment;
- Minimum 5 years experience of line management and leading a team;
- Strong experience of winning both public and private sector bids;
- Strong writing and program management experience;
- Stakeholder engagement and management skills.
