NDT Engineer / NDT Project Engineer (Offshore Pipeline) – FANO
Professional responsible for coordinating and validating non-destructive testing activities on offshore pipelay projects, ensuring compliance with project, contractual, and Client requirements.
Your role
- Lead and coordinate NDT/NDE activities during offshore pipeline projects
- Ensure inspection quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements
- Act as technical interface with Client representatives
- Support continuous improvement of NDT processes and methodologies
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate the NDE phase, including planning, qualification, and execution
- Prepare and qualify NDT procedures, QC documentation, and equipment specifications
- Supervise AUT, UT, MT, and ECA activities on girth welds and validate results
- Support field/on-board teams, manage subcontractors, and handle critical issues
Requirements
- 5+ yrs. Experience in NDT on offshore pipelay or similar projects
- Strong knowledge of AUT, UT, MT, ECA and inspection methodologies
- Ability to manage procedures, qualification, and Client technical discussions
- Solid understanding of NDT standards, data analysis, and process validation
