.NET Technical Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Tech Lead to support application remediation and modernization for a Google Cloud migration program in the banking domain. The role focuses on making existing .NET / C# / VB applications cloud-ready, containerized where applicable, and deployable with full operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Application Cloud Readiness & Remediation
  • Lead updates to .NET / C# / VB application code and runtime dependencies for cloud compatibility
  • Ensure adoption of externalized configuration and secrets management
  • Guide teams through refactoring required for cloud execution
• Containerization & Deployment
  • Define and review Dockerfiles and container build inputs
  • Support deployment manifests or VM deployment packages aligned to cloud standards
  • Ensure smooth application deployment to the target runtime
  • Implement health checks, logging, and diagnostics updates
  • Ensure applications meet cloud operability and supportability requirements
• Quality, Stability & Documentation
  • Own unit and integration remediation , addressing critical and migration-blocking defects
  • Provide application runbook inputs for deployment, monitoring, and support
  • Act as the technical lead for issue resolution during migration waves
  • Updated .NET / C# / VB application code and runtime dependencies
  • Dockerfiles and container build inputs
  • Externalized configuration and secrets usage
  • Health checks, logging, and diagnostics enhancements
  • Deployment manifests or VM deployment packages
  • Unit and integration remediation notes

Success Criteria

• Application builds and deploys successfully to the target runtime
• Critical defects are closed before migration completion
• Application is stable, operable, and supportable in cloud

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

• 8–12+ years of IT experience with strong .NET / C# / VB background
• Experience as a Tech Lead on enterprise-scale applications
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Docker and container-based deployments
• Application remediation and troubleshooting
• Experience in banking or regulated environments

Preferred

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or public cloud migrations
• Prior involvement in cloud migration / modernization initiatives
