Networking System Engineer

TXT e-Tech Srl , part of the TXT Group , is looking for a candidate that fit in a role as System Engineer for the implementation of the networking infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

• Study of network architecture
• Installation and configuration of networking equipment
• Installation and configuration of servers in Windows and VMWare environments
• Rack installation and cabling of supplied equipment

Essential Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Routing & Switching (VLAN, STP, LACP, OSPF)
• Basic knowledge of firewalling; Knowledge of Hardware & Servers (CPU, RAM, RAID Controllers, network cards)
• Experience with Enterprise servers
• Knowledge of the VMWare vSphere suite; Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and DRS mechanisms
• Familiarity with the creation of technical documentation in English and Italian

Optional Technical Skills

• Experience in the physical installation of servers, switches, routers, and storage within racks
• Experience in installing and configuring VMware ESXi hosts on physical servers
• Experience in creating, managing, and migrating (vMotion) virtual machines

Soft Skills

• Problem solving
• Ability to work in a team
• Willingness to travel

Education

• Degree in Electronic engineering or computer science
