YOUR ROLE
As a Next-Gen Telco Network Strategist Manager , you will be responsible for supporting the strong growth of Capgemini Invent Italy by helping Telecom operators define and execute the evolution of their Network strategies toward an Autonomous Network vision.
In this role, you will be a key player in the following activities:
- Guiding Telecom clients in the transformation of their networks through AI adoption, platform optimization, and the evolution of operating models, approaches, and mindset;
- Supporting the transition from low levels of automation to advanced automation (up to Level 4), defining structured and realistic transformation roadmaps;
- Enabling the move from reactive network operations to predictive, closed‑loop orchestration, improving network resilience and efficiency;
- Contributing to the design and experimentation of next‑generation, agentic network capabilities, shaping the future phases of autonomous network evolution;
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver innovative and high‑impact strategic initiatives across the Telco Network domain.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in business development within professional services, selling consulting offerings and leading network infrastructure, operational transformation, and network‑focused business case & strategy initiatives. Strong data‑driven approach to support decision‑making and develop commercially viable market offerings;
- Trusted advisor for C‑level stakeholders on innovation trends and digital enterprise technologies, with a collaborative mindset and strong alignment with Capgemini values. Leverages Capgemini Research, TM Forum and industry best practices to drive impactful Telco transformations;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver medium‑scale, complex consulting engagements, managing mixed consulting and client teams with full ownership of delivery. Strong executive stakeholder management, high reliability, and team‑oriented working style;
- Deep understanding of core Telco domains (network planning, deployment, engineering services, operations, OSS) and the broader Telco‑IT landscape (Digital, BSS, OSS, infrastructure). Experienced in vendor management (NEPs, platform providers, hyperscalers) and knowledgeable of TM Forum initiatives and standards (e.g. ODA).
Note: The role requires at least 8 years of experience in management consulting, strategy or Telco transformation roles. Fluent English; additional languages are a plus. Knowledge of TM Forum frameworks (e.g. ODA) and relevant Telco or transformation certifications are considered an asset. Ability to work in an international context, engage with senior stakeholders, and travel as required.
