Operating Systems Expert Engineer - Kernel / Linux / OS / Automotive

Are you looking to join a dynamic team of engineers in the field of Automotive Operating Systems?

We're working with a true leader in research, development, and innovation, and we are looking for highly experienced engineers with experience in Linux Kernel development development.

This global technology powerhouse invests heavily into R&D to make huge technological advancements in various sectors and is considered a top global employer with one of the largest patent portfolios in the world.

For this role, you will be the expert engineer, designing and optimizing linux kernel and OS components, designing and implementing software solutions for next gen cockpits and autonomous driving systems, performing low level tuning and things such as CPU, GPU etc and also optimizing embedded AI applications.

This is a full-time, permanent position and pay will be base salary plus bonus, amount depending on experience level.

The position is based on-site in Pisa, Italy, so will involve relocation if you're not based locally to here.

For this Operating Systems Expert Engineer position, I'm interested in speaking to people with the following:

- Must have minimum of Masters degree

- Experience with linux development / Linux Kernel and or Linux Drivers

- Experience with C or C++ and developing new features

- Experience with low level optimization for embedded systems

- Around 5+ years industry experience in the above or more
