Partner with the best
As Manufacturing Line Operations Leader in the Florence shop, you will lead production to meet schedules with a focus on HSE, Quality, and Operational excellence. Manufacturing operations involve heavy and high-precision machining, fabrication, or internal logistics.
This role, reporting to the Manufacturing Cell Leader, will be responsible for:
- Coordinating operations, workforce, and material flow to execute the daily production plan.
- Ensuring performance and achieving KPIs such as On-Time Delivery, Productivity, Zero Defects, Cost of Bad Quality, workforce and machine efficiency, and HSE indicators.
- Leading operations through Standard Work and Lean Principles.
- Role modeling key rules and standards in the shop.
- Implementing training plans on HSE in cooperation with Resource Managers and HSE Specialists, and on technical domains with Subject Matter Experts.
- Supporting hiring plans, interviewing, onboarding, and on-the-job training.
- Supporting new technology implementation and equipment start-up.
- Staying updated on manufacturing excellence tools and theories.
- Championing HSE, compliance, and quality initiatives.
- Supporting talent attraction and growth activities, including internships, academies, and collaborations with educational institutions, as well as customer-oriented initiatives like shop tours.
Fuel your passion
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines from an accredited university.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management.
- Be capable of managing multiple tasks and setting effective priorities.
- Be proactive and accurate in data processing.
- Possess excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Have Six Sigma or equivalent quality training; knowledge of value stream mapping, AWO, Kaizen, 5S, and lean tools is preferred.
