Operations Manager / EAM (with Rooms or Food & Beverage experience and fluency in German) for a luxury resort in Kenya

We are seeking an experienced

Operations Manager / Executive Assistant Manager (EAM)

with Rooms or Food & Beverage experience to join the leadership team of a prestigious luxury resort in Kenya, which is part of a well respected international hospitality group. This is an outstanding opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader to contribute to the success of one of Kenya's premier luxury resort destinations while working closely with and reporting to the Resident Manager to deliver exceptional operational performance and memorable guest experiences. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing daily resort operations, driving service excellence, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Previous or current luxury hospitality experience in Germany or France is preferred. Key Responsibilities

Support the Resident Manager in the overall operation and performance of the resort. Lead and manage day-to-day operations across the resort, with a primary background in either

Rooms Division

or

Food & Beverage . Ensure the consistent delivery of world-class guest service in line with luxury hospitality standards. Lead, coach, and develop department heads and operational teams to achieve high levels of performance and engagement. Monitor operational standards, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and quality assurance. Foster a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Requirements

Proven experience as an

Operations Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, or similar senior operational leadership role

within a

luxury hotel or luxury resort . Strong operational background in either

Rooms Division

or

Food & Beverage . Experience working in internationally recognized luxury hospitality brands. Fluency in either German is essential

(English proficiency required). Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, guest-focused luxury resort environment. Previous experience working in Africa or remote resort destinations is advantageous.
