Job Description
With reference to investment advisory services, portfolio management, and order reception and transmission, this role is responsible for managing all back- and middle-office tasks related to these investment services. The role also includes managing relationships and coordinating with the parent company and external consultants regarding regulatory compliance/relations with supervisory authorities. The position includes providing support in client services.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for the transmission of orders/investment recommendations.
- Provide client support for the execution of investment decisions, including direct interaction with clients.
- Liaise with custodian banks, funds (including Private Equity funds), and other counterparties to collect data (trade confirmations, account statements, portfolio statements) and support data analysis to produce quantitative outputs for portfolio management and client reporting.
- Support regulatory compliance activities (KYC procedures, suitability reports; coordination with external consultants and the parent company for organising communications/reporting, particularly to the Bank of Italy and CONSOB).
- Monitor cash flows related to client positions and interact with clients on operational matters.
- Maintain daily, monthly, and annual paper and electronic filing systems.
- Support the preparation of documents for pitches/presentations to potential new clients and collaborate with the Investment Team on administrative and operational matters related to client positions.
Qualifications
- Higher education (a degree in economics would be preferred).
- Good knowledge of English.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel.
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Strong ability to support others—team player.
- Strong multitasking skills.
- Confidentiality and discretion.
