Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Optical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing optical systems. As an Optical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing our optical technologies, contributing to cutting-edge projects, and ensuring the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Optical System Design

• Develop innovative and efficient optical systems based on project requirements.
• Utilize optical design software and simulation tools to optimize system performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide input on design constraints.

Testing and Validation

• Plan and execute optical tests to validate system performance and compliance with specifications.
• Analyse test results and iterate designs to achieve optimal performance.

Research and Development

• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in optical technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into projects.
• Contribute to research initiatives aimed at pushing the boundaries of optical engineering.

Collaboration

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including system engineers, mechanical engineers and AIT engineers to achieve project goals.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and developing optical systems and components.
• Familiarity with optical design software (e.g., Zemax, Code V) and simulation tools.
• Experience in the testing and validation of optical systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in optical modeling and simulation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
