Luiss ENGAGE.EU Office plays a crucial role in managing, coordinating and strengthening Luiss engagement within the alliance.
As an Outreach Officer , you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of all activities related to Societal Outreach (Work Package 6) within the ENGAGE.EU Alliance at Luiss University. You will work under the supervision of the Head of the International and Educational Development Area, within the Directorate of Academic Affairs, and in close collaboration with the reference Faculty staff and with colleagues across the University and Alliance institutions.
Key Responsibilities
WP6 – Societal Outreach Activities Coordination and Implementation
- Support the planning and management of innovative, challenge-based, and lab-oriented activities under WP6, targeting students, researchers, and external partners.
- Organize and manage cross-Alliance meetings and events related to societal outreach, ensuring efficient planning, logistics, and reporting.
- Promote and disseminate opportunities and initiatives related to WP6 through internal and external communication channels.
- Support the design and implementation of outreach initiatives in collaboration with other Luiss offices and Alliance partners.
Student Mobility & Engagement
- Coordinate student mobility in particular, but not only, connected to ENGAGE.EU WP6, including selection processes and ongoing support for participants.
- Manage the dissemination of mobility opportunities within the Luiss community and across Alliance partners.
- Monitor student participation and gather feedback to improve future outreach activities.
Documentation & Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to the drafting, revision, and quality control of strategic documents and project deliverables related to Societal Outreach.
- Collaborate in the alignment of Societal Outreach activities with the broader strategic goals of the Alliance and the University.
- Ensure proper archiving and documentation of all Societal Outreach-related activities and costs, in compliance with project and EU requirements.
Skills & Qualifications (S&Q)
Essential S&Q
The ideal candidate should have:
- sound scientific background: Master Degree in Humanities or Social Sciences;
- proven experience (min. 2–3 years) in managing events and hands-on, lab-based activities within an academic or project-based context, preferably in the field of Higher Education, International/EU institutions and/or organizations;
- previous experience in multicultural environments and international cooperation projects;
- excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail;
- fluency in English (C1–C2 level), with excellent communication and writing abilities;
- ability to work collaboratively and independently, managing multiple tasks and priorities;
- strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders;
- familiarity with project documentation, reporting, and deliverables preparation.
Additional valued S&Q
- Knowledge of EU project frameworks, particularly those related to education, outreach, and innovation.
- Experience in communication and dissemination activities, especially targeting academic and student communities.
- Competence with project management tools and collaborative platforms.
