The Partner Operations Lead - ITES PARP will oversee a team of 6 Sales Operations Managers in ITES responsible for managing the Amazon Locker fleet. This includes installation and maintenance of lockers, sourcing and importation of goods, supplier management, monitoring program OPEX and CAPEX, managing cross-functional projects, and continuously improving operational processes. The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, including service providers, Locker host partners, technology and product teams, and local business development teams. The role requires both analytical and creative skills to enhance products, processes, and tools, along with strong interpersonal skills for frequent interactions with senior leadership at Amazon and partner companies.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and coach a team of 6 Sales Operations Managers across Italy and Spain on daily operations.
- Manage the end-to-end installation and maintenance processes for Amazon PARP products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in installation and maintenance processes.
- Monitor performance of service providers such as installation and maintenance partners and internet service providers, escalating issues as necessary.
- Control program OPEX and CAPEX and implement cost reduction strategies.
- Identify opportunities through analysis to improve customer experience and operational performance, including hardware uptime.
- Lead and contribute to strategic projects, including new product launches, process improvements, and geographic expansion.
- Collaborate with global Partner Operations to innovate and develop best practices.
- Create training materials for service providers and host partners.
- Report on KPIs and project progress to senior leadership regularly.
- Lead negotiations for service provider contracts.
- Foster an environment receptive to business change and continuous improvement.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations.
- Minimum of 1-2 years leading an operations team, including responsibilities such as reporting, deliverables, coaching, and career development.
- Experience managing external suppliers and engaging in high-level negotiations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in ambiguous environments.
- Strong influencing skills across all organizational levels.
- Highly proficient with technology and quick to learn new systems.
- Fluency in English and Italian or Spanish.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in high-growth, technology-driven companies.
- Background in finance, business management, or sales operations.
- Knowledge of SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Certifications in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Fluency in Italian and Spanish.
