About Brighton College Rome

Brighton College Rome is a new school opening in September 2027, bringing one of the UK’s leading independent school brands to the heart of Europe. The school will cater for pupils aged 5–18 and will offer world-class teaching, outstanding facilities and boarding opportunities for both local and international families, combining academic excellence with a culture of kindness, curiosity and confidence.

The school is operated by Intellego Education, led by Chairman Dr Stephen Spurr and CEO Christopher Stacey. Working in close partnership with Brighton College International, Brighton College Rome will deliver Brighton College’s acclaimed curriculum and educational vision, giving pupils access to the same breadth of opportunity that has enabled Brighton College pupils to progress to many of the world’s leading universities.

Brighton College Rome forms part of a wider European expansion that includes campuses in Madrid, also opening in September 2027, and Lisbon, opening in September 2028. Together, these schools represent one of the most ambitious international education projects currently underway in Europe and offer families a rare opportunity to become part of a new school community from the very beginning.
