Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in relationship management, with a proven track record of working with charities, non-profits, or similar organizations. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for making a positive impact through charity work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with charity partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned charities, ensuring their needs and goals are met.
- Campaign Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of fundraising campaigns, including auctions, experiences, and merchandise sales.
- Gala Event Management: Coordinate with charity partners to support their gala events and other high-profile fundraising events. Assist in managing relationships with vendors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure successful event execution.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of fundraising initiatives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign and event performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Networking: Attend industry events and conferences to represent CharityStars and foster new relationships with potential charity partners.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in relationship and account management, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector. Experience in supporting gala events or similar high-profile events is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing data and using insights to drive decision-making.
- Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously.
- Passion: A genuine passion for charitable work and making a positive impact.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
