Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Chef, based in Venice. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods and desserts, designing creative pastry menus, and ensuring the consistency and presentation of all pastry items. Responsibilities include overseeing the pastry section of the kitchen, maintaining hygiene standards, and collaborating with the culinary team to create exceptional dining experiences. The role also involves managing inventory, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and staying updated on pastry trends to bring innovation to the kitchen.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Bakery and Baking techniques
  • Expertise in Food Preparation, Cooking, and general Culinary Skills
  • Ability to design creative pastry menus and ensure high-quality presentation
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene standards and kitchen safety practices
  • Team collaboration and time management skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker
  • Culinary arts certification or equivalent education is a plus
  • Passion for innovative pastry creation and delivering excellent guest experiences
