Your Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications in Europe and internationally.
- Conduct patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and provide strategic advice to clients.
- Collaborate with research and development teams and tech transfer offices of corporate and academic clients to identify and protect innovations.
- Represent clients before Patent Offices and the European Patent Office.
- Stay updated with changes in patent law and practice.
Your Profile
- Degree qualified in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
- EQE-qualified with at least 5 years of experience; additional national qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Experience in electronics/computer-implemented inventions casework, drafting, filing, and prosecuting EPO and PCT applications.
- Knowledge of EPO opposition and appeal procedures, contentious proceedings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in international teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
