Your Responsibilities

1. Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications in Europe and internationally.
2. Conduct patentability assessments, freedom-to-operate analyses, and provide strategic advice to clients.
3. Collaborate with research and development teams and tech transfer offices of corporate and academic clients to identify and protect innovations.
4. Represent clients before Patent Offices and the European Patent Office.
5. Stay updated with changes in patent law and practice.

Your Profile

1. Degree qualified in Electronics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.
2. EQE-qualified with at least 5 years of experience; additional national qualifications are desirable but not essential.
3. Experience in electronics/computer-implemented inventions casework, drafting, filing, and prosecuting EPO and PCT applications.
4. Knowledge of EPO opposition and appeal procedures, contentious proceedings.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in international teams.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
