Penn State Dickinson Law - Admissions Fall Travel Recruiter

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Office of Admissions & Financial Aid plans to hire 2‑3 members of the Class of 2026 to work as Penn State Dickinson Law Admissions Representatives from mid‑August to mid‑November (exact start/end dates and length of service are negotiable).

Responsibilities

• Represent Penn State Dickinson Law at a variety of recruiting events, both virtually and in person, including LSAC Forums, law and graduate school fairs, and private presentations for pre‑law groups.
• Communicate with prospective candidates as requested via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
• Perform administrative tasks related to recruitment, such as comparing travel costs, booking travel/preparing travel itineraries, and tracking travel expenses for reimbursement and reconciliation.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate of $18.00.
• Travel and meal per diem expenses paid in accordance with Penn State policy.

Work Location and Eligibility

This is a remote position. Approval of remote and hybrid work is not guaranteed regardless of work location. Applicants residing in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington D.C. are not eligible.

Background Checks

Employment will require successful completion of background checks in accordance with University policies. A valid driver’s license and successful motor vehicle records check are required, as the position involves operating a motor vehicle.
