Who We Are In Settimo Torinese, Italy, is active one of the main production centers of L’Oréal Group in the world. The plant's products are distributed in 30 countries. The production site is a full expression of the industrial, social and environmental values of the Group: quality, the result of innovation and control in production, safety of the working environments, and minimal impact on the environment. The site is in fact carbon neutral since 2015 and since 2018 is also a waterloop factory.
We Are Looking For We are looking for a pragmatic and proactive Performance Improvement Intern to join our team in Settimo Torinese. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting continuous improvement projects on the plant floor, turning your engineering knowledge into real-world impact.
Mission & Main Responsibilities
Driving Continuous Improvement: Revisionate the departmental visual management boards according to new EOS1 standards and coordinate 5S workshops to enhance workplace organization.
Implementing New Standards: Collaborate directly with Production Units (UPs) to create and implement new 5S layouts, ensuring they are practical and effective.
Supporting Production Teams: Provide crucial support to production teams by helping them update operational standards and nominal settings (VNR), ensuring processes are optimized for efficiency and quality.
Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed data analysis and reporting to monitor performance and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in management engineering, Industrial Production Engineering, or Business Administration.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) is required; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Language Skills: Excellent knowledge of Italian and fluent in English; basic knowledge of French is a plus.
Passion for Operations: A strong interest in the world of Manufacturing and Industrial Supply Chain.
Other Requirements & Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability of communicating at all levels.
High level of adaptability, method, and organization in a dynamic environment.
Involvement, motivation to work in a team, and a problem-solving mindset.
