develops and invests in renewable energy projects across Italy, from land identification and technical design to permitting, authorisations, and EPC contracting. Permitting Manager
to lead permitting and authorisation processes for our solar PV projects. You will manage regulatory approvals, coordinate with public authorities, and support the development of Italy’s clean energy future. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage feasibility studies, regulatory screening, and permitting strategies from early development to construction and operation. Prepare and submit permitting applications (A.U., V.I.A., P.A.S., P.A.U.R., landscape authorisations). Coordinate with public authorities, consultants, and key stakeholders, including participation in Conferenze di Servizi. Lead and mentor a junior permitting team, ensuring quality and compliance. Support investment decisions, project financing, and M&A transactions by providing permitting and regulatory input. Work closely with engineering, legal, finance, and development teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. Monitor regulatory changes, market trends, and policy developments. Manage project budgets, timelines, and documentation. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Environmental Engineering, Urban Architecture or related fields. Strong experience in renewable energy permitting, preferably solar PV. Ability to oversee projects from feasibility analysis to final permitting, construction, and operation. In-depth knowledge of Italian permitting frameworks (A.U, V.I.A, P.A.S, P.A.U.R). Proven ability to manage complex permitting processes and interact with Italian public authorities. Excellent communication skills both in Italian and English. Ability to provide clear project updates, manage documentation, and liaise with key stakeholders in both Italian and English. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
