Position
We are currently recruiting a Piping Engineer for our Power Plant Construction Project near Venice.
About the Role : He / she will be based at Construction Site and reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, He / She will :
- Require a thorough knowledge of construction methods and standards and principles.
- Provide liaison and support for the Piping and Mechanical Construction activities of the superintendents and construction supervisors
- Monitor craft employees and sub-contractors work and material for compliance with drawings and specification.
- Under general supervision, evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
- Assist the Superintendent by providing input to identify key success factors, timing of procurement deliverables, and establishing common work breakdown structures.
- Provide technical and administrative direction to field layout and surveying personnel.
- Review drawings and material status for upcoming work to identify potential problems.
- Review prior to issuance of drawings / blueprints and other engineering documents and specification to field forces.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering according to Discipline (Mechanical)
- Experience in Hydrotest, test packs preparation, execution of basic and detailed engineer in the Oil&Gas Upstream, Gas Treating and Power Plant.
