We are looking for a
Planning Manager
to join our international manufacturing environment and play a key role in ensuring end-to-end supply chain planning excellence. This position operates in close synergy with internal functions on site as well as external stakeholders, contributing to the seamless flow of materials, production, and supply across the network.
The Planning Manager, reporting to the site Supply Chain Director, will be responsible for leading and coordinating planning processes and a Master Scheduler Team across three main areas:
1) Demand Management
Conduct
Rough Cut Capacity Planning checks and levelling
Manage
Orders Feasibility and Firming
2) Master Production Schedule
Develop and maintain the
Monthly Supply Plan
identifying and monitoring
short-term constraints
(Maintenance activities, Line trials, Material issues, Resource availability)
Lead
stakeholder alignment
activities
3) Detailed Scheduling
Build and maintain the
Detailed Sequence Plan
Manage
Process Order Release
Oversee
Bulk Batch Allocation
Monitor
Supply Chain End-to-End Performance
Degree in economics or engineering disciplines
At least 3–5 years of experience in the role, with a strong focus on planning, demand/supply planning, production planning, or supply chain management
Experience preferably gained in structured multinational environments
Experience in regulated or complex sectors, such as pharma, biotech, healthcare, or industrial manufacturing, is preferred
Experience managing teams or coordinating internal and external stakeholders
Systems Knowledge
Strong knowledge of SAP, particularly planning-related modules and functionalities (PP and MM modules)
Familiarity with scheduling / advanced planning systems and capacity and production planning tools
Good knowledge of advanced Excel and, preferably, data reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI / ClickView
Experience with ERP systems and demand planning / S&OP tools is an advantage
Certifications
Certifications in Supply Chain / Planning are a plus, such as:
APICS / ASCM
CPIM
CSCP
Project management certifications such as PMP or lean / continuous improvement
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in complex, matrixed, and international environments
