Chaberton Professionals , a division of Chaberton Partners specializing in the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is currently looking for a Plant HR Business Partner for a leading company in the FMCG sector.


The role, reporting to the Senior Global HR Business Partner and functionally to the General Manager , will be responsible for both hard and soft HR processes within a matrix organization.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as the main HR point of contact for the plant, managing relationships with the plant leadership team, employee representatives/unions, and employees;
  • Support employees with contractual matters (national collective labor agreement, labor and social security regulations, holidays, leave, sick leave, injuries, etc.) and handle administrative HR activities (contracts, suppliers, institutions, etc.);
  • Manage processes related to talent acquisition, performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and employee development;
  • Handle employee and labor relations, conduct internal investigations, and provide guidance on conflict resolution;
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and support activities aimed at building a strong and positive organizational culture;
  • Coordinate and monitor key HR metrics (e.g. turnover, headcount, absenteeism), creating dashboards to support decision-making processes;
  • Manage workforce planning and the headcount budget, also coordinating plants located in India, China, and the United States ;
  • Provide support for cross-functional and interdepartmental projects.


Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3–5 years of HR generalist experience in structured, well-organized companies, preferably within a plant environment;
  • Master’s Degree (in Humanities, Law, Economics);
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language;
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix organizational context, with adaptable communication and decision-making skills to build effective relationships;
  • Business-oriented mindset, focused on organizational objectives;
  • Resilience and flexibility in managing organizational changes;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining focus and setting clear priorities;
  • Solid knowledge of Italian labor law and national collective labor agreements;
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR management tools – such as SuccessFactors and Zucchetti.
