To support its growth and strengthen its manufacturing organization, the company is looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead and further develop its production site.
Role Overview The Plant Manager will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the manufacturing plant, ensuring the achievement of operational, quality, safety, and financial objectives. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will lead all plant operations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee engagement. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, strategic vision, and extensive experience in manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee all plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved • Drive operational excellence initiatives aimed at improving productivity, efficiency, and cost performance • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards across the site • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects, leveraging Lean Manufacturing methodologies and best practices • Monitor plant KPIs and define corrective actions to achieve operational objectives • Manage and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture • Oversee production planning activities in coordination with Supply Chain and other business functions • Ensure optimal utilization of resources, equipment, and production capacity • Support capital investment projects and plant development initiatives • Collaborate closely with corporate functions to align plant performance with business strategy
Candidate Profile • Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines; additional management qualifications are considered a plus • Proven experience in Plant Management or senior Operations leadership roles within manufacturing environments • Strong knowledge of production processes, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and operational excellence principles • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills in complex industrial organizations • Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial performance management • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and change management capabilities • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Fluent English required; French is considered a plus
