Plant Production Director LG

Position The position is based in Bagno a Ripoli/Florence. The Plant Production Manager reporting directly to the LG Industrial Director will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end internal production operations, including production planning, operational efficiency, and workforce leadership. This role requires exceptional adaptability and the ability to manage complexity, while ensuring sustainable growth, efficiency, and high-level standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute plant operations strategies aligned with business objectives and requirements.
• Work together with the other dept. like the industrialization process in order to anticipate/manage and provide solutions to pre-production issues.
• Collaborate with the Quality department to define technical aspects and testing activities and verify compliance with the company's quality parameters.
• Lead and manage internal production department, ensuring consistent performance, quality standards, and operational excellence.
• Oversee production, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering functions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing, and process innovation.
• Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Profile

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or related fields:
• At least 10+ years of consolidated experience in similar role in the Fashion industry;
• Excellent knowledge of bags, specifically on industrialization and production;
• Strategic vision and medium- to long-term planning skills;
• Excellent knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement techniques, and safety regulations;
• Good problem-solving skills and results-oriented approach;
• Strong leadership, communication and management skills;
