We are looking for an Plant Supply Chain Manager to join our team based in Forlì.


MISSION

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient management of Supply Chain operations, balancing costs and service levels. You will monitor key economic drivers such as inventory, capacity allocation, lead times, procurement, and transportation. Additionally, you will oversee the effectiveness of sales operations and planning processes, ensuring the achievement of company targets related to On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Lead Time (LT).



MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Plant Strategy Implementation

  • Support the Plant Manager in defining and developing short-, medium-, and long-term strategic objectives for your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure the local implementation of BU HQ Supply Chain policies and guidelines.
  • Translate planned plant KPIs into actionable logistics indicators and service level targets.


Supply Chain Management

  • Ensure local implementation of Supply Chain policies and guidelines across the Plants.
  • Take ownership of planning and Supply Chain operations, managing costs and service levels.
  • Monitor key economic factors, including inventory, capacity allocation, lead times, procurement, and transportation.
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the master production planning process.
  • Oversee warehouse management, including stock levels and coordination with external suppliers.
  • Ensure procurement processes meet production requirements efficiently and effectively.
  • Drive achievement of targets for Available-to-Promise (ATP), On-Time Delivery (OTD), and inventory investment.


Budgeting

  • Prepare, propose, and manage the Supply Chain budget for costs, revenues, and investments at the Plant level.
  • Monitor operational performance within your area of responsibility to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
  • Identify variances or deviations and define corrective actions to maintain financial targets.


People Management

  • Management of a team of 6 people overseeing Material Planning, Machining and Assembly Production Planning, as well as Logistics and Warehouse Management.




REQUIRED SKILLS

• Proven experience in complex production environments, managing capacity constraints, variable lead times

• Strong decision-making skills, balancing cost and service levels under pressure (e.g., prioritizing orders, allocating capacity).

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams (Production, Sales, Procurement) and manage multiple stakeholders.

• Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills to identify root causes and solve operational inefficiencies.

• Strong focus on delivering measurable results (OTD, LT, inventory targets)

• Strong leadership skills

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Fluent in English
