We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated Electrical Engineer student or recent graduate to join our team at IMI Remosa in Cagliari, Sardinia .
This internship is ideal for someone passionate about programming, troubleshooting, and learning about PLC systems.
During the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in a well-structured, international company, applying electrical engineering principles, working with hydraulic systems and control technologies, and developing your skills in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing PLC programs for electro-hydraulic systems
- Support troubleshooting activities for PLC software and hardware
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand PLC system integration
- Help prepare technical documentation for production and customers according to project needs
- Provide support during testing and assembly phases
- Learn to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Opportunity to observe or participate in field service work, potentially in different locations
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Basic knowledge or coursework in PLC programming (prior hands-on experience is a plus but not mandatory)
- Interest in hydraulic systems and control technologies
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and, if required, to travel internationally
