Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Computing
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantum Computing to join our multidisciplinary Scientific and Quantum Computing (SciQC) team.
Based in Trieste, Italy, Elettra is an international synchrotron and free-electron laser facility at the forefront of advanced scientific research and technology.
What you’ll work on
Quantum algorithms and methods
Performance evaluation on real quantum hardware and HPC simulations
Scientific computing for large-scale experimental data
Cross‑disciplinary research bridging quantum computing and synchrotron science
The position is part of QUASAR FVG project (FSC - 44620/25 GRFVG, CUP: D93C25001400001), aiming to advance scalable quantum computing platforms, particularly in the context of neutral‑atom technologies.
