Postdoctoral Position Available – Chemello Lab , VIMM, Padova (Italy)
The Chemello Lab at the Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine (VIMM) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team.
Our research focuses on genome engineering strategies for the treatment of muscle disorders , integrating CRISPR-based gene editing , disease modeling , and both iPSC-derived systems and in vivo mouse models to dissect disease mechanisms and develop therapeutic approaches.
We are looking for candidates with:
✔️ A PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related fields
✔️ Solid expertise in genome editing (e.g., CRISPR/Cas systems), iPSC culture and differentiation , and/or mouse models
✔️ A strong publication record and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
