The POWER ARCHITECT is a key role within the Application Engineering Team and the Strategic Accounts Sales Team, serving as the leader for power train solutions, including medium and low voltage switchgear, UPS, STS / PDU, RPP / Busway, and high-density applications. The role involves influencing design solutions for assigned accounts, contributing to market share growth, and supporting traditional and grid support solutions.

This position is integral to the EMEA Power Engineering team and Strategic Accounts organization, with accountability for the complete Power portfolio order targets for designated accounts. The POWER ARCHITECT will lead a multidisciplinary team, providing technical support and commercial strategy for all Power products, supported by Key Account Directors and Application Engineers to meet customer needs effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical sales experience, a proven industry track record, and a well-established network within EMEA, with close links to global product and engineering teams. Commercial acumen and the ability to build internal and external networks are essential. Effective communication skills are vital for coordinating across business units and engaging with senior management and clients.

Responsibilities include providing technical support and training, developing competitive applications, organizing demonstrations, and collaborating with consultants. The role requires expertise in switchgear, large power converters, RPP / Busway, high-density and grid applications, and sustainability. The POWER ARCHITECT will aim to drive growth in Power sales and profitability, manage a diverse customer portfolio, and ensure continuous order flow through pipeline management and strategic positioning.

Qualifications include an engineering background or equivalent, extensive experience in AC Power products, particularly within data centers or similar industries, and willingness to travel approximately 30%. Core competencies involve customer focus, practical product experience, project management, organizational skills, and proficiency with relevant software such as C1, Oracle Sales Cloud, AutoCAD, and familiarity with BIM and standards.
