Job Description:

Within the Power Origination team, the intern will provide operational support for contract management activities and initiatives related to the valorization of energy produced by renewable plants. The role involves participation in cross-functional processes requiring interaction with various company departments, with the goal of ensuring the proper progress of activities related to contracts and plant grid interconnection.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the management of contractual documentation related to PPAs (Power Purchase Agreements) and GOs (Guarantees of Origin), contributing to deadline monitoring and required activities
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Legal, Finance) to ensure proper information flow and execution of contract-related activities
• Participate in coordinating activities necessary for plant interconnection
• Support market research and data collection for benchmarking analysis and negotiation processes
• Assist in monitoring the evolution of national and European regulatory frameworks, identifying opportunities to enhance the value of produced energy through new instruments or incentive mechanisms

Requirements:

• Ongoing or recently completed Master’s degree in economics or engineering
• Interest in the energy sector and the functioning of the electricity market
• Precision, reliability, and ability to work in a structured manner
• Good command of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of English (Spanish is a plus)
• Location: Rome
