With more than 40 years of experience in the steel industry worldwide, Danieli Automation is the perfect technological partner for production management, process and equipment control, and the supply of advanced instruments and state-of-the-art electrical solutions. We are currently expanding our team within the Quality Control – Power Systems Test area.
- Perform functional, electrical and safety tests (Factory Acceptance Tests – FAT) on power electronic equipment, including testing activities at suppliers’ premises or industrial sites when required.
- Analyze test results, identify non‑conformities and support root cause analysis.
- Prepare and maintain test setups, measuring instruments and test equipment.
- Support the definition of test plans and procedures.
- Work closely with technical office engineers and commissioning engineers.
- Coordinate with the vendor's technicians for supply-related issues.
- Train commissioning engineers.
- Technical high school diploma or equivalent in electrical / electronic / automation disciplines.
- Knowledge of medium-voltage power equipment and relevant electrical standards (IEC, CEI, EN).
- Knowledge of electrical measurements (voltage, current, power, harmonics).
- Ability to use test and measurement instruments (multimeters, power analyzers, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet, Profibus).
- Ability to execute and document functional and electrical tests according to defined test plans and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Ability to perform hands-on technical activities related to test setups, electrical wiring and hydraulic connections.
- Basic knowledge of Codesys is a plus.
