Florence Bilingual School (FBS) is a bilingual Italian/English school that has been active since 1973. Accredited by Cambridge International, FBS promotes an educational approach and curriculum aimed at the development of each student’s confidence, creativity, and autonomy. About the Role
As a Pre‑School Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. You will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning, aligned with the school’s values and educational approach. Through careful observation, assessment, and positive relationships, you will support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development. Working closely with colleagues and families, you will contribute actively to school life and ensure high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding are consistently upheld.
This is a full‑time, fixed‑term contract position needed from 1st September 2026 until 30th June 2027.

Who We Are Looking For
You are a passionate and caring early years educator who believes every child has the potential to thrive. You bring strong classroom practice, creativity, and patience, along with the ability to adapt your approach to meet the needs of individual learners. You communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, and you value collaboration and professional growth.
You hold a recognised teaching qualification, have at least two years’ classroom experience, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing. You are organised, reflective, and motivated to contribute positively to a dynamic school community.
