Responsibilities

  1. Perform pricing activities for the Italian business across all Lines of Business (LoB): Personal Loan & Mortgage (CPI), Health (Medex), Cessione della Quinto (CQS/P), Death and Disability, Personal Accident, Critical Illness, and LTC, following internal processes and profitability indicators, for both proportional and non-proportional business.
  2. Support product development (pricing, risk, and profitability) and client services based on experience analyses.
  3. Provide profitability reports and analyses for global and regional pricing and RM during business approval processes.
  4. Develop and maintain local pricing models and tools according to SCOR processes and methodologies.
  5. Contribute to updating SCOR's Best Estimate (BE) for the Italian market by reviewing pricing model assumptions.
  6. Lead experience analysis processes, including data collection from partners (cedent, broker, TPA), and analyze actual versus expected experience.
  7. Support projects for developing data pools and analysis programs.
  8. Monitor LoB portfolios like Medex, CPI, CQP/S in coordination with Experience Analysis Teams.
  9. Collaborate with Finance to estimate future P&L aligned with IFRS-17 principles.
  10. Participate in community events such as SCOR seminars and actuarial conferences.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Statistics and mathematics expertise.
  • Proficiency in SAS, Visual Basic, Prophet; knowledge of Alteryx, Python, R is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; French and/or Spanish is advantageous.
  • Experience in Italian Health LoB is preferred.

Experience & Education

  • Minimum 5 years in insurance/reinsurance, focusing on actuarial issues and pricing within the Italian market.
  • Degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent from a recognized organization.
