Primary Care Family Practice Physician

Parental Leave Coverage – 4 months. Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre (BQWCHC) – Belleville Location. June 8 – July 31, 2026 (Full‑time coverage approx. 35 hrs per week). August 3 – October 2, 2026 (Part‑time coverage approx. 21 hrs per week). $150.06‑$182.40 hourly wage.

The Organization

BQWCHC opened in 2010 and is one of 75 community health centres in Ontario. We provide a range of services and initiatives designed to respond to the health needs of clients and the local community, with a focus on health equity and serving populations who face barriers to accessing health services.

Scope of Work

Comprehensive primary health care.

Engagement in organisational initiatives on quality improvement, policy development, health equity issues and development or modification of programs / services in response to community needs.

Qualifications

CCFP (active status).

General licence to practice from CPSO in good standing.

Current CMPA membership.

Primary care experience preferred, specifically with communities / individuals who face barriers to accessing care.

Commitment to working within and optimising the interdisciplinary team.
