Experteer Overview

As Principal Engineer, you will guide Cisco’s global technology standards agenda within the GTS team, aligning with corporate strategy. You’ll influence standards development across SDOs, engage with industry partners, and help shape open-source initiatives. You’ll mentor engineers, represent Cisco at industry events, and contribute to governance, IPR, and the patent portfolio. This role connects cross-functional leaders to drive strategic impact on Cisco’s technology leadership.

Responsabilità

• 5+ years in engineering, technology strategy, architecture, research, or standards roles
• 10+ years of industry experience
• Deep knowledge of AI, IP networking, and security relevant to multiple Cisco business areas
• Proficiency in standards strategy, technology, and product understanding
• Strong communication skills and experience working with remote teams
