A rare opportunity has arisen for a highly technical Facilities Manager to oversee a world-class private estate in Milan. This isn’t your typical property management role; the residence features a sophisticated, state-of-the-art technological infrastructure that requires a specialist with an 'IT-first' mindset.

The Role

You will be the primary custodian of a high-spec smart home, ensuring the seamless operation of all property systems. This role demands a proactive professional who can manage complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems while serving as the on-site technical expert for all digital integrations.

Core Responsibilities

• Systems Architecture: Maintain and troubleshoot advanced Home Automation systems (Crestron, Lutron, or similar), including integrated AV, lighting, and climate control.
• IT & Networking: Manage high-speed enterprise-grade networks, cybersecurity protocols, and server maintenance for the property.
• Preventative Maintenance: Oversee the lifecycle of the latest HVAC, security/biometric systems, and sustainable energy solutions.
• Vendor Management: Supervise specialist contractors, ensuring all work on high-spec finishes and technology meets the owner’s exacting standards.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain a comprehensive digital inventory of all manuals, warranties, and maintenance schedules.

The Ideal Candidate

• The 'IT Genius': You possess a deep understanding of network administration and smart home integration. You are as comfortable debugging code as you are managing a boiler service.
• Discrete & Professional: You understand the nuances of working within a private family environment and maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Experience: Proven track record in managing ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) residences or five-star boutique hotels.
• Language: Fluency in Italian and English is essential.

• Salary of circa €100,000 gross per annum, negotiable
