Process Engineer

We are looking for an experienced, self‑motivated, proactive problem solver to work with a diverse global team building innovative new solutions and providing support to our sales teams and customers.

Position will be based in Porto Mantovano (MN).

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative bioreactors, fermenters and downstream bioprocessing equipment for the biotech, pharma and food & beverage industry.
• Apply industry and engineering knowledge to innovate and solve complex customer challenges and create competitive advantage.
• Develop technical documentation such as layouts, PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, URS and/or technical specifications, fluid lists and consumption.
• Perform hydraulic sizing of lines and main process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, agitation groups, valves, etc.).
• Carry out engineering design according to cGMP, pharmaceutical technical regulation and local regulations.
• Commissioning and final testing at manufacturing and customer sites.

Travel: Up to 10%.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemical/process/pharmaceutical engineering.
• +3 years’ experience as engineer in a bioprocessing, food and beverage or pharma industry.
• Language: English B1.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering: Pilot plant design, open/closed loop, fluid technologies knowledge (pumping & regulation, temperature transfer & regulation, etc.), instrument technologies knowledge (electromagnetic, massic, etc.), P&ID, AutoCAD 2D, generating bill of material, detailed functional analysis, plant commissioning, QI/QO/QP.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Language skills: Italian and English.
