Process Engineer

It's more than a job As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations. At Kuehne+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine. The Contract Logistics Process Engineer works within the Contract Logistics Function. Contract Logistics provides innovative end-to-end warehousing and distribution solutions carried out to scale in a structured and standardised manner to optimize supply chain operations for our customers. Is part of the Operations Function and supports warehouse activities to satisfy customers’ needs and requirements while utilizing space, equipment, and labour effectively.

How you create impact

Collect and verify data about inbound/outbound

Collaborate to oversee the movement of goods to give support in process improvement and innovation

Conduct necessary data analysis and monitoring to achieve goals

Monitor, collect, and analyze KPIs to assess process effectiveness and identify priorities/opportunities

Contribute to process improvement and procedures development, delivery, and maintenance

What we would like you to bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Fluency in Italian and English (B2 level or higher)

Previous professional exposure to Quality within an industrial logistics environment (strongly preferred)

Strong ability to collect, monitor, and verify inbound and outbound data

Analytical skills to manage KPIs and support process improvement and innovation
