We are looking for:


  • Process Sales Area Manager Italy (m/f/d)


The process Sales Area Manager will be responsible for developing our market share in Pharma and Biopharma industries with existing/new customers by focusing on selected existing customers and targeting and developing new customers.


This position requires someone who is able to drive project management with colleagues and have business development skills with growth mindset.


This position reports directly to the Process Sales Director.


Your main tasks:


  • Development of pharma business in the territory: building a pipeline of new opportunities with existing and new pharma customers to ensure adequate market penetration.
  • Achievement of the sales growth plan in the territory in accordance with company policy
  • Prospect the market (Focus Pharma/ Biopharma) and collect customers application, competitive information.
  • Monitoring sales network, define and execute an action Plan
  • Analysis of sales figures to obtain a clear view of the sales forecast
  • Developing product penetration with our existing Customers/Partners with an 80/20 mentality.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities , existing and new customers. Providing a clear understanding of sales trends and opportunities in the pipeline
  • Securing margins, defending our added value on products and our differentiation.
  • Application of the "Sales Excellence" culture and our 80/20 business model
  • Use of our CRM as a tool to support commercial activities and market information
  • Participation in events, seminars and workshops
  • Plan and coordinate the activities agreed with the sales director on the basis of the concept : plan, act and review.
  • Preparation visits and customer proposals: Offers, samples, technical documents,

delivery agreements, quality agreements, contracts.

  • Sales performance analysis that provides a clear overview of sales forecasts for assigned accounts.


Your profile:

▪ Successfully completed studies in chemistry, biochemistry or biology and commercial study is a must.

▪ Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of the laboratory/Pharma Biopharma business and end market dynamics and trends.

▪ Relevant sales experience with chemical and biochemical reagents.

▪ Experience in managing a distribution network as well as territory planning and management

▪ Great willingness to travel,

▪ Place of residence: located in your territory.

▪ Fluent in English

▪ Strong goal orientation, with an 80/20 mindset

▪ Ability to win over and convince others in line with the company's needs, goals and strategies

▪ Understanding the financial impact of prices, discounts and rebates on sales and profit margins

▪ Understanding and knowledge of analytical techniques in general and specifically those aimed at the following markets: pharmaceutical, food, clinical diagnostics and environmental
