We are seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist to enhance our procurement strategies and operations on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, particularly within the financial services industry, and a strong background in international operations. The role involves managing procurement processes, optimizing budgets, leveraging SAP, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness on an international scale.
  • Manage and oversee all procurement operations, including the use and optimization of SAP for procurement activities.
  • Prepare, manage, and monitor procurement budgets to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions while ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with international regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support procurement initiatives and projects.
  • Analyse market trends and provide insights to inform procurement decisions.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management, Management Engineering, Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement operations, with a focus on international markets.
  • Proven experience in managing procurement budgets and driving process optimization.
  • Strong expertise in using SAP for procurement processes.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in various regions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
