About the Company

Yibi Group is a premium OEM manufacturer and strategic partner for global luxury and fashion brands, accredited by LVMH, Kering and Richemont. Equipped with a 50,000㎡ precision manufacturing base, we focus on high-end luxury hardware, jewelry components and fashion accessories. We are seeking an experienced Product Design leader to join our Italian team, oversee local luxury product design development, optimize design systems and support long-term partnerships with top European luxury brands.

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Design Manager based in Italy (Milan, Rome, Florence preferred) to lead end-to-end product design and creative development for European luxury clients. Serving as the key liaison between China headquarters and the Italian luxury market, you will independently manage design projects for high-end hardware and jewelry components. You will align design outputs with Italian luxury aesthetics and brand positioning, deliver professional design solutions, iterate product systems, and drive local business growth and brand partnership maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Product Design & Creative Development: Develop tailored product design solutions for Italian and European luxury hardware, jewelry and fashion markets. Integrate local aesthetic trends, market preferences and brand tonality to complete original styling, structural optimization and sample development.
  • Client Project & Design Management: Undertake luxury brand design projects independently, present design concepts, and compile design proposals and product specifications for European clients. Oversee the full process from drafting and prototype confirmation to production docking, ensuring designs meet brand standards and production feasibility.
  • Trend Research & Product Iteration: Research Italian and global luxury design trends, innovative materials, craftsmanship and competitor dynamics. Compile market insights to drive continuous product line iteration and build differentiated design competitiveness.
  • Cross-Border & Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the core local design contact for Italy, coordinate design requirements, technical standards and project progress between China headquarters, local sales and production teams, ensuring efficient cross-timezone communication and accurate design implementation.
  • Standard Compliance & Design System Optimization: Ensure all designs comply with EU and Italian product safety regulations, industry craft standards and global luxury brand guidelines. Optimize local design workflows, material libraries and case resources to standardize design operations.

Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 3+ years of product design experience in luxury jewelry, high-end fashion or luxury hardware industries. Proven Italian/European luxury market experience is mandatory; familiarity with top Italian luxury brands’ design and cooperation standards is highly preferred.
  • Professional Capability: Proficient in mainstream design tools (CAD, Rhino, 3D MAX, PS, AI, rendering software, etc.). Familiar with the structure, materials, surface craftsmanship and production processes of luxury hardware, jewelry and accessories, with independent end-to-end design project capabilities.
  • Global Team Collaboration: Experienced in cross-border, cross-timezone teamwork; prior collaboration experience with Chinese headquarters or manufacturing teams is a strong advantage.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian (essential for client communication and internal coordination); Mandarin proficiency is a bonus for cross-border collaboration with China headquarters.

Required Skills

  • Possess strong client communication, design presentation and problem-solving skills, with in-depth understanding of Italian luxury aesthetics, business etiquette and brand design logic.
  • Equipped with outstanding aesthetic taste, creative vision and rigorous logic, with solid attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-standard design outputs under fast-paced, multi-task work pressure.
  • Able to flexibly adapt to China-Italy timezone differences and efficiently align with headquarters to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Skilled in cross-cultural communication, capable of accurately capturing client needs and converting them into commercial and market-oriented product design solutions.

Equal Opportunity Statement

Yibi Group is an equal opportunity employer. We advocate diversity and inclusivity, offering fair employment opportunities for all employees in line with EU and Italian equal employment regulations, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, nationality, age or disability.
