Key Responsibilities

Research & Development

• Support PD and technical teams in sourcing materials and new construction techniques
• Create tech packs in PLM with Design (materials, measurements, specifications)
• Coordinate prototype and sample development according to the Critical Path
• Check samples and communicate feedback to suppliers
• Support fittings, sample comments consolidation, and follow-up with manufacturers
• Assist in material ordering and supplier coordination

Production & Pre-Production

• Track development progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Support costing, MOQ, and lead time discussions with suppliers
• Manage PLM data (Centric8) and ERP updates (AP21)
• Coordinate SMS samples for shows, campaigns, and wholesale
• Support handover from development to production and ensure accuracy of data

Communication & Coordination

• Liaise with design, merchandising, production, and suppliers
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Support travel when required (sourcing, production, training)

Skills & Experience

• 5 years’ experience in footwear/accessories development or production
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Strong communication and supplier management skills
• Proficiency in Excel and PLM/ERP systems (Centric8, AP21)
• Flexibility to travel
