Product Development & Quality Control Assistant

We are looking for a Product Development & Quality Control Assistant to join our team.

This role is ideal for a candidate with 2–3 years of experience in the design industry—preferably in lighting —who wants to be directly involved in the full product lifecycle, from development to quality assurance and supplier coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end product development process , from concept to industrialization
• Identify, evaluate, and coordinate suppliers and manufacturers for product components
• Manage relationships with external partners , ensuring quality, timing, and cost alignment
• Conduct factory visits and supplier meetings (mainly in Italy and Europe)
• Collaborate on product certification processes , especially in lighting
• Monitor and improve product quality standards throughout development and production
• Assist in the transition from prototype to scalable industrial product
• Create and maintain technical sheets, product specifications, and documentation
• Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and product integrity

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in product development , quality control, or similar roles within furniture, design, or lighting industries
• Strong understanding of industrialization and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of materials, components, and production techniques
• Familiarity with rotational molding and injection molding technologies
• Strong interest in technical and engineering aspects of design products
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software
• Knowledge of CAD tools
• Ability to produce and interpret technical drawings and datasheets
