Product Development Specialist - Jersey

The Product Development Specialist – Jersey supports the Senior Product Manager for product planning and execution of Jersey Collection, working closely with the Design, Production, and external suppliers and helping in assuring the detailed outcome of the product in the achievement of aesthetic targets with respect to the delivery deadline, the quality standards, and the profitability required by the Company.

Job responsibilities

• Supports in defining that all prototype and sample development and production activities are following the costs and timelines defined for the category, collaborating with the Company functions involved
• Supports in ensuring the management of the production phases of Jersey Collection, through the coordination of external suppliers, with the objective of respecting the established costs and timelines (constantly monitoring prototyping costs and consumption)
• Collects inputs from the Design team to be transferred to external suppliers involved in the realization of the prototypes and samples optimizing the best solutions to get the best result
• Monitors production progress with the aim of meeting agreed costs and delivery times
• Participates in meeting , fitting and correction of defects trials.

Profile

• At least 2 years of previous experience in the industry
• Specific knowledge of the Jersey product category and good knowledge of knitwear, model development
