Product Marketing and Inventory Intelligence Manager - Onitsuka Tiger
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Market Development Inventory Analyst / VMD to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
Reports to Sales Director / Administrative Director / General Manager and CBO.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Travel and monitor the demands of online / offline stores in EMEA, responsible for VMD (including Sales promotion related tools) that align with Global HQ direction.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and provide insights on competitors’ strategies and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, marketing, and sales initiatives to avoid missing sales opportunities due to lack of inventories.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Monitor industry developments and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets.
- Support the development of strategic plans and business cases.
- Develop merchandise planning processes for offline / online commerce.
- Establish assortment guidelines by product and store.
- Improve demand forecasting and order accuracy, and develop relevant systems.
- If necessary, perform other work when asked.
Internal: Product Marketing, Consumer Insight, Merchandise Team, Marketing and Sales, Store Managers.
- At least 10 years of experience in product management or merchandising in the FMCG industry.
- Experience with VMD in the premium lifestyle industry.
- Good understanding of the premium lifestyle industry.
- Sense of trends and development in the premium / luxury lifestyle industry.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze sales data and draw conclusions.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and MS-Office / MS-Excel.
- Willingness to travel.
- Good understanding of intercultural differences, team player, good communicator.
- People management and coaching skills.
- Teamwork, creativity, flexibility, proactivity, accuracy, structured thinking, stress resilience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
