Job Title: Product and Pricing Manager

Location: Italy (Remote)

Reports to: Head of Product & Strategy / Regional Director (as applicable)

Position Overview

Our customer is a global leading automtive company. We are seeking a results-driven Product and Pricing Manager to develop and implement pricing strategies that drive profitability and market competitiveness for two leading automotive brands. This role will play a key part in aligning pricing with corporate goals, customer expectations, and brand positioning across the European market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pricing Strategy Development
  • Design and execute competitive, data-driven pricing strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis
  • Conduct regular research and analysis of the automotive market, including competitive pricing trends and customer insights, to inform pricing decisions.
  • Profitability Management
  • Monitor and optimize product margins. Recommend and implement pricing adjustments to ensure revenue and margin targets are met.
  • Product Positioning Support
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure pricing supports brand positioning and market segmentation strategies.
  • Pricing Process Optimization
  • Develop efficient pricing processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and consistency across regions.
  • Dealer Network Collaboration
  • Provide clear pricing guidance to the dealer network to ensure alignment and consistency in execution.
  • KPI Tracking & Reporting
  • Track pricing-related KPIs and performance metrics. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Liaise with sales, finance, supply chain, and marketing to align on pricing strategies and ensure business-wide cohesion.
  • Lifecycle Pricing Management
  • Manage pricing through the product lifecycle—from launch through to end-of-life—responding to product performance and market conditions.
  • Forecasting & Planning Support
  • Partner with planning teams to support demand forecasting and inventory planning with effective pricing intelligence.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in pricing, product management, or revenue management—ideally within the automotive or mobility sector.
  • Industry Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with the automotive market landscape, vehicle lifecycle management, and pricing methodologies.
  • Analytical Skills:
  • Proficient in pricing tools, Excel, and financial modelling. Able to extract insights from complex datasets.
  • Business Acumen:
  • Solid understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and profitability levers.
  • CRM & Data Tools:
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and pricing or data management tools.
  • Project Management:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability:
  • Ability to shift strategies in response to competitive changes or evolving market demands.
