Your Role and Responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to optimize the production processes and equipment to maximize productivity in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production solutions enhancing automation and granting optimized equipment performance. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
Work model for the role is: In this role, you will be accountable for the following:
Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implementing improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.
Approving and/or editing the design for processes developed internally or externally, performing final tests with respect to the project, and providing support to production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.
Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices. Developing sensibility to solutions that best fit with production environment.
Investigating and developing innovative production technology introduction, leveraging on Industry 5.0 approach.
Qualifications for the Role
Master’s degree in Mechanical, Automation or Mechatronic engineering.
Experience in production process design or automation is a plus.
Very good knowledge of Italian and English; good knowledge of office package and knowledge of modelling and simulation programs, and CAD programs.
Familiarity with programming languages in particular C# and .NET; familiarity with AI applications such as computer vision is a plus.
Knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken.
Team‑working attitude and good communication skills.
