Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the area's processes and productive resources to fulfill the established manufacturing, quality, cost and safety goals.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
Supervise the activities carried out in the manufacturing area in order to reach the targets defined each year for the plant.
Monitor the effective fulfillment of manufacturing programs and define and ensure the implementation of specific action plans in order to fix any problems that may affect the plant.
Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing and management processes through an ongoing search for efficient manufacturing practices and methods.
Ensure the implementation and fulfillment of all procedures with same time ensuring that manufactured products fulfill the requirements requested.
Ensure OHSE policies and procedures are followed in the manufacturing area.
Manage, develop and motivate the team in the area of responsibility.
Authority to stop the production and/or deliveries if required.
Report to the Plant Manager or Country Manager on the main production effectiveness and efficiency ratios for the manufacturing area and develop improvement plans in case of deviation.
Take part in the Plant Committee, representing the section, as well as other Plant Meetings involving maintenance.
Prepare the yearly budget for the manufacturing area.
Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.
Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values.
Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OHSE rules, ensuring they are properly used.
Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS Academic background:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
Languages:
Advanced English (written & spoken)
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years in a similar position
OTHER SPECIFICATIONS Additional training:
Knowledge in current legislation as IATF, automotive standards, basic VDA core tools, Customer Specific Standards and risk basic thinking, manufacturing, finances and Management Control. Basic training in OHSE management would be of additional value
