The University of Southern California seeks a candidate to contribute to collaborative research at the Alzheimer’s Therapeutic Research Institute (ATRI) Neuroscience Translational Research Division (NTRD) and to lead an independent research lab focused on translational basic science studies for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experimental projects within the NTRD.
• Collaborate closely with other NTRD principal investigators, team members, and external collaborators.
• Provide mentorship to junior scientists and PhD candidates.
• Communicate findings effectively through oral and written presentations.

Qualifications

• Track record of independent research in Alzheimer’s disease translational research.
• Experience participating in collaborative research groups and projects.
• Strong mentorship skills and ability to lead a research team.
• Demonstrated excellence in scientific communication and publication in leading neuroscience journals.

Annual base salary range: $135,000–$160,000.
